Long Island Dahlia Society exhibition to be held May 17 (Massapequa Post) - The Long Island Dahlia Society will hold a sale of exhibition grade dahlia tubers on Thursday, May 17, 8 p.m. in the Massapequa HG Community Center, Ritter Avenue, Massapequa, behind the Pathmark Shopping Center on Carmans Road. At 7 p.m. there will be a Dahlia Basics class. Free information on how to grow dahlias to perfection will also be available. All are welcome and the admission is free.
Long Island Country Music Association Country/ Western dance May 12 (Babylon Beacon) - The Long Island Country Music Association announces its country/western dance to be be held Saturday, May 12, 8 to midnight at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 400 So.
